Mission & Ethos

Scoil Eoin Naofa, Ballyclough is a co-educational Catholic primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cloyne. Together with the Board of Management, the parents and the parish community, we provide Religious Education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church.

We promote the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith in a manner that is welcoming to and inclusive of the presence of pupils committed to other religious traditions. Our Christian ethos also permeates the school day through our actions, attitudes and practices, in prayer, by celebrating the sacraments and whole school attendance of Mass on the First Friday of each month.

Scoil Eoin Naofa is located in Ballyclough, near Mallow in County Cork. In addition to our mainstream classes, we also have two special classes within the school. We strive to create a learning environment where every child is encouraged and enabled to develop to their full and unique potential as human beings.

Our website aims to provide you with a glimpse of the warm, welcoming, unique, colourful environment here in Ballyclough. We continuously promote a positive attitude towards learning and enable each of our students to recognise their gifts and achieve their full potential.
