At Scoil Eoin Naofa, the safety and wellbeing of every child is central to all we do. We are committed to creating a school environment where children feel safe, listened to, respected, and cared for.
Our Child Safeguarding Statement and Child Protection procedures are guided by the Child Protection Procedures for Schools 2025. These procedures help us to protect children from harm and to respond appropriately to any child protection or welfare concerns.
We believe safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Children are encouraged to speak to a trusted adult if they are worried about themselves or someone else.
Our Designated Liaison Person is Mrs Maria O'Mahony, and our Deputy Designated Liaison Person is Mr. Donagh O'Mahony.
A child-friendly version of our safeguarding information is also available so that pupils can understand their right to feel safe and know who they can talk to if they need help.
