A fantastic day all around for 5th class and for the school as the 5th and 6th class girls won the relay.
With all the fantastic results from Juniors all the way to 6th the school was awarded best overall in our category so we came home with two trophies.
Special thanks to all the staff involved in helping out on the day and to Mr. Burke and Mrs. Casey for guiding the students with all their training.

Sciath na scoile
Both the boys and girls from 5th and 6th class participated in sciath na scoile recently.
They played excellently in both hurling and football with the ladies achieving success after a hard fought battle in the final in Mallow.
Between christmas, new year and st.brigid's day 5th class have had a busy few weeks.
They even managed to squeeze in a day of chess and indoor hurling
Christmas preparations
5th class decorated the room today on the run up to Christmas.
It looks so much better than before!
Halloween in 5th class
5th class had great fun today for Halloween.
We had a chance to record out poem that we have been learning as Gaeilge. The poem is called "An Púca"

Orienteering
Recently 5th and 6th class went orienteering in Doneraile Park
There was lots to do and we even got to go to the playground before heading back to school.
It was a very busy day with lots of singing on the bus to and from Doneraile.
